Braudiano – Taurasi Riserva DOCG 2011
£31.50
The Alta Valle del Calore, at the foot of the Picentini Mountains, gives character to this wine. This wine has big structure, balanced with fruity, spicy and floral notes, that together with the tannins contribute to its elegance. It has delicate, silky richness which continues to improves over the first 20 years, preserving its structure in the subsequent years. Priceless treasure.
Braudiano, Taurasi Riserva DOCG is only produced in the best vintages. It is made from the oldest grapevine and is the result of a careful selection of Aglianico grapes grown around the cantina in the town of Castelfranci, at 690 meters above sea level, with south-westerly exposure and a yield per hectare of about 40/45 quintals.
