Murgentia Bianco IGT 2024
£20.00
“Murgentina” is a captivating blanc de noir, born from the white vinification of Vittoria’s native black grapes.
While it carries the weight and soul of Nero d’Avola and Frappato, it offers a rich, vibrant freshness on the palate. You’ll find elegant floral notes of orange blossom commonly found in Sicily and southern Italy and Mediterranean broom, accompanied by crisp hints of pear and green apple. There are subtle, lingering whispers of menthol and a distinct mineral undertone – a true reflection of the high-altitude ‘Ferle’ sands.
It’s a wonderful, unconventional pairing for light appetisers, fresh seafood, and grilled white fish.
