This is a wonderful Sicilian red defined by its vibrant, fresh notes and the stimulating floral soul of Caltagirone. A wine that defies the stereotype of “heavy” Sicilian reds, offering instead an incredible lightness and finesse.
This Frappato creates a moment of pure elegance with distinct explosive notes of morello cherry, pomegranate and raspberry met by the scent of violets, peonies, and a hint of pink pepper. On the palate, it’s lively and aromatic, offering a savoury undertone of wild fennel and a crisp, with a dry yet slightly salty finish that leaves the mouth clean.
