Roero Arneis DOCG 2019

£21.00

The grapes originate from guyot-trained vineyards in the Roero area.

The sands that dominate the left side of the Tanaro river, give minerality, a typical characteristic of the unique Roero wines. The colour is an intense golden yellow. Its complex nose has notes of vanilla and white tea, balanced by a pleasant citrus fruit. The palate is powerful, and dry with hints of canned peach and spices. The contained acidity is complex leaving an aftertaste of marked mineral notes

Neeche Comment: “A white variety that can trace it’s roots back to ancient times, the limited production of this wine makes it a real catch, exemplified by its growing popularity in Piedmont”
