This wine takes its name from the Alta Valle del Calore, at the foot of the Picentini Mountains. It has a great structure, supported by an adequate freshness, which makes it particularly suitable for ageing and able to express over the years a wonderful balance of power and elegance both on the nose and palate, with notes of myrtle and licorice.

Enveloping and profound in its complexity, Taurasi Alta Valle is the result of a careful selection of Aglianico grapes grown around the cantina in the Municipality of Castelfranci at 690 meters above sea level, with south-western exposure and a yield per hectare of about 50 quintals.
