Parfum d’Automne – IGP Comté Tolosan 2019

£14.00

The Comté Tolosan appellation is vast and includes several areas, it runs from the Atlantic coast to the Pyrénées and up to Aveyron but is not used much. Here at Domaine du Pountet, it is the preferred choice as there are already many Cotes de Gascogne’s. It sets them apart from the rest and enables them to make wines the way that they want to make them – that is to say ‘monovarietal’.

In marrying grape varieties that are only very rarely blended, this Parfum d’Automne cuvée is a surprising wine in its type and rarity. This wine has a remarkable and complex aromatic power, with floral notes, citrus and exotic fruit aromas. The finish is long and beautiful. It has a fine body and perfectly balanced acidity making it wonderfully light and delightful to drink.
