Falanghina is a vine that seems to have very ancient origins and probably cultivated as far back as the Roman times. It is grown widely in Campania, particularly in the Sannio area. Its wine is typically a pale-yellow leaning to gold with an intense, floral and fruity perfume. It is a delicate wine yet persistent on the palate.
